Does my car need a recent smog certification?
Your vehicle doesn’t need to have a passed smog test. All of the dealers we work with in Southern California are prepared to make an offer for a car that doesn’t have a current smog certificate.
All vehicles will be evaluated in an “as-is” condition for purposes of establishing an offer.

In order to get the maximum offer, a smog test is recommended, but we are confident that you will still be able to beat competitor offers by dealing with a local dealer with or without a Smog test.

Can you buy my car if it's not yet paid off?
Whether you want to exit your current vehicle because of a non-optimal loan, or because you don’t enjoy driving it anymore, it doesn’t matter. Our dealers have been pre-vetted to ensure their ability to pay off loan facilities and provide you with cash in hand.
Once you’ve requested an offer, the dealer can get in touch with your lender to confirm your (10-day) payoff amount, and upon agreement, the dealer will then make a direct payment to your lender to pay it off.
As soon that that transaction closes, you can get the cash difference stipulated by the offer in your hands.
How fast can I expect an offer?

Does my vehicle need to run to get an offer?
No! Our dealer network understands that they may be bidding on vehicles that are no currently running. The amount of their offer will include any ability for them to benefit from repair work that they can provide to get the vehicle up and running for resale.
All we ask is that you offer full-transparency about the current state of the vehicle to minimize concerns, excessive travel and waste of resources. Be clear in what you know about the vehicle you desire an offer on.
Many times, a vehicle that is not currently running can find the sweet spot for maximum offers, as the dealer that makes the offer may be able to profit through repair costs, and their existing mechanical abilities.
